Tessa joined the Smörgås Catering team in 2013 as Event Manager. Born and raised in Brooklyn, she was surrounded by the food and wine business from an early age. Her family instilled in her a passion for locally sourced ingredients, which eventually led her to Nordlys, where she fell in love with the farm to table aspect of their catering operations.
Prior to joining Smörgås Catering, Tessa began a career in events in 2009 with a nightlife group and later worked in private dining for various New York City based restaurant groups. At Smörgås, Tessa brings her extensive knowledge of food and wines and her passion for locally sourced ingredients to the planning and management of events.
